Marisa Robertson-Textor is a food and travel writer based in Brooklyn. The former research chief of Gourmet magazine (her essay on the demise of that cultural institution was anthologized in Best American Food Writing 2010), she has also worked as a contributing editor at Whole Living magazine and a researcher for the Los Angeles Times. Her work has appeared in Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel, O, The Robb Report, and MORE.
